Three uninterrupted hours of salsa, bachata, merengue — hand-curated and mixed live by your host under his DJ name, The Jose Show. Loud enough to move, warm enough to talk.

International brunch plates served all afternoon. Joanna runs the bar — drinks to order, water and soft drinks on the house.

Questions people ask

Before you hit reserve.

Do I need a partner?
No. Rotations happen naturally on the floor. The 2pm class is partner-rotated — you'll dance with everyone. Come solo, come with friends.
I've never danced Latin before. Will I feel lost?
Not at all. The 2pm class is built for absolute beginners. After 45 minutes you'll have the basic step down in at least one style, and the rest of the afternoon is about practicing, not performing.
What's the dress code?
Smart casual. It's a Sunday brunch, not a nightclub. Comfortable shoes you can turn in — leather soles if you have them, sneakers are fine otherwise. Skip flip-flops.
Is food included, or do I buy separately?
International brunch plates are included throughout the afternoon. Joanna runs the bar — water and soft drinks are on the house, cocktails and beer available to order.

Who's behind Muévete Brunch?
A family of two, plus the Starpoint team. Jose Gomez hosts and teaches the 2 PM class. Under his DJ name The Jose Show, he also spins from 3 to 6 — so the whole afternoon comes from one point of view. Joanna Gomez runs the bar and the bites. Starpoint Dancesport handles the door and the floor. Small, intentional, warm.
Is there parking?
Yes — free parking at Starpoint Dancesport. The venue is off South Shore Blvd in Wellington, right near the Mall at Wellington Green.
Can I get a refund?
Tickets are refundable up to 48 hours before the event. Within 48 hours we can transfer your ticket to a friend or roll it to next month.
Is it every month?
Yes — the last Sunday of every month. Follow us on Instagram or subscribe to the newsletter below for dates and themes.
